DHV MED was founded at 1996 as a subsidiary of international DHV from the Netherlands (see http://www.dhv.com/ ). The company in Israel practice consulting engineering services in water, environment and related infrastructure and counts 30 professional staff.

DHV MED specialized in overall engineering from concept and master planning level through feasibility studies and up to general and detailed design. The company provides consulting , design and management services for process plants with related systems to the industrial and public sectors such as WTP (water treatment plants), WWTP (wastewater treatment plants), air emission treatment, alternative energy, solid waste management, polluted soil treatment and more.

The company deals with environmental aspects of water pollution, air pollution and spatial dispersion (using advanced models as AERMOD), soil contamination, water resource management, odor problems and asbestos. DHV MED consults about implementation of advanced emission and other environmental standards such as EU directives (as IPPC), non-point emission control as LDAR (leakage detection and repair), environmental safety, hazardous materials and more.
